Into The Streets is excited to offer The Shared Spaces Stewardship & Activation Mini Grant Program for Treat Plaza in partnership with SF Public Works, the SF Planning Department and the Office of Economic and Workforce Development to support community-driven programming and stewardship projects at and around Treat Plaza through June 2024.
Grants of up to $15,000 and technical support are available to winning applications. Example projects include block parties, neighborhood clean-ups, planting/restoration projects, weekly workshops, and/or special events with performances and retail vending. Applicants are encouraged to be creative in bringing ideas for public stewardship and programming to the space.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All activities must be free and open to the public
The location of the activity must include Treat Plaza
The activity must be led by or in partnership with at least one neighborhood-based resident, business, group or nonprofit organization
All grant-funded activities must conclude by June 2024
